Our professional memberships include Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (Certified Residential Appraiser), and Real Estate Institute of British Columbia.

EDUCATION Completed four year diploma course "Urban Land Economics" through the University of British Columbia, and received the following designations:
R.I.(B.C.) - Real Estate Institute of British Columbia - September 1977
FRI - Fellow of the Real Estate Institute - October 1977 to April 1995 - resigned
CRA - Canadian Residential Appraiser - Appraisal Institute of Canada - since May 1986
Bob Swanson had been a Governor for the Nanaimo Chapter of the Real Estate Institute of BC for 10 years and was actively involved with their Education, Admittance, Membership, and Standards of Practice Committees. Also he was a member for the Advisory Planning Committee (APC) and was an active Chairman of the Plan Preparation Committee, planning a new Official Community Plan (OCP) for the District of North Cowichan.
